Isaiah 18 and the Future of America

Avoid the Tragedy - Get Saved Today

When Isaiah 18 is fulfilled, Christians alive in America may not be here. Jesus told his followers that he was leaving the earth but that he would come again. The Bible tells us about what is now calls the rapture. The believers will be removed from the earth and go straight to heaven. Seven years of tribulation and great suffering will follow. If you get saved before the rapture you will avoid the tragedy. If the rapture occurred and you are still on the earth you need to get saved today. Salvation is very simple. It is based on faith. It is simple, because Jesus does all the work. The good news is that God loves you and wants you save you from his sin. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

If you want to be saved and have eternal life:

1.Admit that you are a sinner.
2.Be willing to repent and turn from sin.
3.Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross, was buried and rose from the dead.
4.Through prayer, invite Jesus into your life to become your personal Saviour.

Admit that you are a sinner
The Bible says:
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
(Romans 3:10-11)

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
(Romans 3:23)

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
(Romans 6:23)

Be willing to turn from sin (repent)
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
(Acts 3:19)

Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross, was buried and rose from the dead.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
(Romans 5:8)

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
(1 Corinthians 15:1-4)

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
(Ephesians 2:8-9)

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
(1 John 5:13)

Through prayer, invite Jesus into your life to become your personal Saviour.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
(Romans 10:9-10)

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
(Romans 10:13)

What to Pray
"Dear Jesus, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that you shed your precious blood for me, died on the cross for my sin and rose from the grave the third day. I am willing to turn from my sin. Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and ask You to forgive me of my sins and prepare for me a new heart. I surrender my life to You. I now invite You to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour. Amen."

You Can Know You Are Saved
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
(1 John 5:13)

Is it too Late?
Is it ever too late to get saved? Some people claim that if you missed the rapture and you have already heard the gospel it is too late. In Matthew 20 Jesus spoke this parable.

1For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.
2And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
3And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,
4And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.
5Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.
6And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
7They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.
8So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.
9And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.
10But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.
11And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,
12Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.
13But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
14Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.
15Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
16So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

It did not matter whether the workers started in the beginning of the day, the middle of the day or even in the last hour of the day. Hebrews 9:27 says, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" Death is the cutoff for your chance to be saved, not the rapture.

Can You Afford to Wait?
Don't wait. You do not know what tomorrow has in store for you. In Luke 12 Jesus warned about a man who thought he could wait.

15And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
16And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
17And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?
18And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.
19And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
20But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
21So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

The man man thought he had plenty of time but died that night. Isaiah 55:6 says, "Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:"

Will People Get Saved in the Tribulation?
Revelation 14:13 says, "And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them." You are not truly blessed unless you're saved.

The Church With all New Members
Revelation 12:
1And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
2And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
3And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
4And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
5And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
6And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

The 1,260 days are one of the halves of the tribulation. The woman: is this not a reference to the church? How can there be a tribulation church unless new people get saved? Matthew 24:24 mentions the elect during the tribulation. Jesus said, "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." Jesus also said in verse 31, "And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." There will be elect during the tribulation. Another reference to Christians in the tribulation is found in Revelation 15:1-2:

1And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.
2And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

The 144,000
Revelation 7:4 says, "And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel." This is a reference to the 144,000 male Jewish virgins who are saved during the tribulation.

The Great Multitude
Revelation 7:
9After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
10And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
11And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
12Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
13And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
14And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

If the number of the multitude was so great it could not be numbered by any man on earth it has to bigger than the 144,000 mentioned in the verses just prior in Revelation 7:4-8. It also has to be bigger than the 200,000,000 numbered in Revelation 9:16 where it says, "And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them."

The Harvest at the End of the Age
Jesus told a parable about a crop of wheat where weeds or tares were mixed in with good grain.

Matthew 13:
24Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
25But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
26But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
27So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
28He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
29But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
30Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Afterwards he was asked to explain the parable.

Matthew 13:
36Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
37He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
38The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
39The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
40As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
41The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
42And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
43Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

We can see here at the end of the age that there will be a great number of children of the kingdom present. Since the rapture will take all of the believers out of the world there will be have to be many more that get saved for a "harvest" to occur.

Everybody Has a Witness Now
Romans 1:
19Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath showed it unto them.
20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Psalm 19:1 says, "To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handiwork." Everybody has had some form of witness available to them. Everybody in the tribulation will have already had some form of a witness given to them prior to the rapture.

Some people try to say that if someone has heard the gospel before it will be impossible for them to believe later during the tribulation. They cite this passage.
Hebrews 6:
4For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
Notice above it refers to those enlightened. How can they be truly enlightened without being a Christian? How can they taste of the heavenly gift without a relationship with Jesus? How is it that anybody other than a believer can be made a partaker of the Holy Ghost? They can't. This is talking about Christians.

Salvation is Open to Anyone
Romans 10:13 says, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Whosoever means who so ever. In John 6:37 Jesus said, "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out". This includes people in the tribulation. Regardless of what people have heard before or ignored, as long as they are alive, they can still repent and ask Jesus to save them. We need to lead people to Jesus now, but if they don't accept him as their saviour now, I still plan to leave a witness for them later.

The Cutoff is Death, not the Rapture
Hebrews 9:27 says, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" It does not say, "it is appointed unto men once to die or miss the rapture, but after this the judgment." It does not say "it is appointed unto men once to hear the gospel, but after this the judgment." The Bible will not change during the Tribulation and neither will the plan of salvation. There will not be a NEW New Testament. The unpardonable sin is not accepting Jesus before you die. It's not too late until you die. Know and understand, though, you do not want to wait.
